Shankar

I'm an incoming first-year at Harvard College where I hope to concentrate in applied math and statistics. I currently live in Phoenix, Arizona.

I spend most of my time (perhaps aimlessly) reading. This habit very naturally led me to develop an interest in research, and I now hope to go into academia.

My research interests are broadly related to statistical machine learning and high-dimensional statistics. I'm particularly motivated by applications in learning theory and representation learning. I also retain some interest in applied statistical methods and scientific computation.

Above all, I try to have fun, take nothing too seriously, and maintain a sense of wonder for the universe. If you took the time to visit, I'd love to hear from you.
